We aim to provide the best possible educational experience for the children in our care – one where they will develop positive attitudes and aspirations of themselves, others and the communities they contribute to.
We do this by having high expectations of them and of ourselves, by supporting children to become independent, confident, resilient individuals and by encouraging them to make the most of the opportunities provided. As a school, we make a difference in fostering a love of learning that is hopefully ever-lasting and truly believes that all children can excel in something.
Of course, we want the children to fulfil their full potential and achieve highly, but we also recognise how important it is for them to be happy to provide a warm, stimulating, safe, fun and welcoming environment for all children. We want Chantlers Children to leave, ready and able to succeed in the next stage of their education but also cope and benefit from daily life, having made a difference to them as unique individuals.
We would like to emphasise the important role you play in your child’s education. To feel confident and secure, your child needs to see the partnership between school and home. Good communication between families and the school helps to ensure a good relationship and also enables teachers to learn more about individual children from the adult who knows them best. We have an open-door policy, so please feel free at any time to come and see us if you have any problems, or issues, or are not quite sure about something. We are always here to help.
